Adidas  Smart Run Watch

   Visual Designer

Adidas’ early foray into the wearables space, combining hardware, software, and service design.

• Contributed to UI/UX design for Adidas’ first GPS-enabled smartwatch.
  
• Created precise specifications and documentation to boost implementation speed.
  
• Designed user flows and in-device interactions, balancing usability with athletic needs.
  
• Collaborated with design and product teams to align hardware constraints with digital experience.

• Winner of the 2014 Red Dot “Best of the Best” award, as well as “Honours” at the International CES conference.

Nokia  Halti UI

     Visual Designer

     2012

Detailed interface design for the Halti OS of Nokia’s own tablet product. This project was never released, and was amongst the last  carried out in-house before Nokia’s fateful transition to Microsoft.

• Designed concepts and visual prototypes for Nokia’s next-gen mobile experiences.
  
• Created detailed specifications and documentation to boost implementation speed and precision.
  
• Contributor to testing/QA process to ensure design quality and consistency.

Alongside my professional work, I’ve loved taking on smaller, more creative projects — sometimes just for fun, sometimes with friends to  bring ideas to life.

Over the years, this has included:

• Music & cultural events → designed branding, posters, and materials for events that drew hundreds of guests.
  
• Small business branding → helped friends and local businesses develop their visual identity from scratch.
  
• Web & digital design → built sites for local architecture and design agencies.
  
• Objects & oddities → everything from album artwork and vinyl sleeves to a custom skateboard deck.
  

These projects let me experiment outside the constraints of product work, try new mediums, and keep my creativity sharp.
