  • First design hire; helped grow company from pre-seed to Series A and 40+ employees.
  • Led end-to-end product design: from user research and flows to detailed interaction design and developer collaboration.
  • Created and scaled the company’s Figma-based design system, improving speed and consistency across teams.
  • Designed sophisticated workflow functionalities, including AI-supported automation and a low/no-code builder.
  • Built and led the design team (Product & Marketing), mentoring designers and shaping a collaborative culture.
  • Contributed to company-wide hiring processes, helping to shape team culture and user-first mindset.

Mobile-first app and brand created from the ground up to make swapping items simple, fast, and fun.

  • Designed both mobile and later desktop products, iterating features with Product & Engineering based on user feedback.
  • Led all brand and marketing design, from identity to campaigns and community touchpoints.
  • Conducted user research (interviews, diary studies, data analysis) to inform product decisions.
  • Attended the first MassChallenge accelerator in Lausanne, Switzerland (winning the Ville De Renens “Coup De Coeur Du Jury” prize upon completion).
  • Helped grow the company to 7 people, raising funds via family & friends round, government grant, and €10k via Kickstarter (featured as “Project We Love”).

Senior product designer within Babbel’s mobile team, helping scale one of Europe’s leading edtech products to millions of users.

  • Led end-to-end design and refined user flows for Babbel’s mobile apps in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Pioneered new features, including a successful Apple Watch app.
  • Partnered with product managers, data scientists and UX researchers to make design decisions grounded in data and research.
  • Led the Product Design team, strengthening collaboration across a small but distributed group.

   Lead Product Designer
    2015

Contextual language-learning app designed for the launch of Apple Watch.

  • Conceived and prototyped at an internal hackathon, focused on “contextual learning” tied to user location.
  • Drove rapid product design process in close collaboration with iOS engineering.
  • Selected as one of few external teams invited to Apple HQ to develop and test on pre-launch devices.
  • App featured on Apple’s launch website and briefly during the Apple Watch keynote.
